Zack has been around bluegrass and gospel music his entire life and his family often sang in churches. Zack was singing before he was two years old and learned to sing harmony at a very young age. He took mandolin lessons as a child but fell in love with the guitar as he grew older. When ClayBank was forming, Zack moved back to the mandolin and began to astound audiences with his hard-hitting mandolin style. Also, Zack's powerful lead and harmony vocals have garnered much attention since the band's inception. Zack is an avid hunter and fisherman, and attends Smethport Baptist Church where his dad is the pastor.
